Meet the Team

Jodd Friesz

"Success isn't just about what you accomplish in your life:

Jodd is a co-owner/operator at VBR. He oversees the financing and overall daily operations. Jodd is originally from Flasher, North Dakota, and spent six years in the Army/Army Reserves.

He began his career in Construction in 1995 with Dean Roofing. He started in the field and made his way up to Commercial Division Manager.

When asked how he did it, he said, "Honesty, hard work, teamwork, passion, confidence, and perseverance."

Jodd left Dean Roofing in 2015 for Minnesota, where he started as VP of operations/Sales to eventually become President of Kato roofing. In 2018 Jodd joined Joey to form Vegas Born Roofing. When asked what he loves about VBR, Jodd said, "I love the TEAM environment we've created. Giving every Team member a voice to be heard has elevated our communication to its fullest." When not at the office, Jodd loves hanging out with his family, hitting the gym, golfing with his wife, and in his earlier years, coaching soccer, where he learned a lot about teamwork.

Joey Williams

Co-Founder

Joey Jay Williams passed away on September 22, 2022. He was born June 7, 1961, and was a lifetime resident of Las Vegas. Joey spent his entire career in the roofing industry, first through Dean Roofing and then as the co-owner of Vegas Born Roofing. Joey was married for 33 years to his wife Kendra and was an exemplary family man. They shared three children; Joey was the proud Papa to eight grandchildren. We all will genuinely miss Joey at Vegas Born Roofing.

Tommy Reiner – Service Manager

"What have you done for somebody else today?"

Tommy is our very energetic Service Manager/Estimator at Vegas Born Roofing with 10 years of experience. Tommy grew up working in the construction trades and is well-versed in all roofing systems.

Tips for potential clients -" Don't forget about your roof, even though it's out of sight, out of mind. It protects your family and must be maintained like everything else in your home."

Tommy is happily married and a father to 3 teenage boys, and he enjoys football, basketball, and attempting to play golf.

Hector Santiago - Estimator/Project Manager

Hector is a true professional with over 20 years in the roofing trade.

When asked why he likes working at VBR, he says"

"Mostly I like the respect, good energy and the harmonious atmosphere among everybody!! That makes me feel part of a family."

In his spare time, Hector loves to dance, play piano and flutes, and spend time with his beautiful daughter Valeria and son Ariel.

Chase Thometz - Estimator

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life.

And that is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan

Chase is our newest estimator. He enjoys working at VBR because it is the family-like-atmosphere and the wealth of knowledge he gets from his co-workers. On his free time, he enjoys being outdoors,

exploring new places and anything related to sports.

Mrs. Sharon Uechi – Administrative Support Specialist

"There is always a tomorrow, a brand-new day."

Mrs. Sharon is the voice of Vegas Born Roofing!

Give us a call, and you will see. Also, Mrs. Sharon is the liaison between clients and our staff. She is well-rounded in business,

banking, travel, real estate, and insurance.

Albert Hernandez - Assistant Estimator

Albert is our assistant estimator with Vegas Born Roofing. Albert has been with the company since 2020. He credits his success to the foremen at Vegas Born Roofing for teaching him all about

all the different roofing systems.

When asked about working at Vegas Born Roofing, he said, "The sense of family makes VBR different from other workplaces."

Rich Friesz - Project Manager

Rich Friesz joined Vegas Born Roofing in July 2022. Rich has been in the construction industry for over 20 years and prides himself on providing quality service to multi-family property managers, general contractors, HOA management companies, and commercial property management companies. Rich is a member of NVSAA, CAI, and SNHBA. He also sits on the Board of Directors with NVSAA. A native of North Dakota, Rich enjoys the outdoors and when not at work you can find him on the golf course or at the shooting range.

Arielle Serrano - Accounts payable

"Whatever you are, be a good one."

Arielle is new to Vegas Born Roofing and works in our accounts payable department. What she likes about working at Vegas Born Roofing is constantly learning and adapting to the ever-evolving industry and the environment. No two days are the same.

Tip for homeowners from Arielle -

"I would like to tell the homeowner that we strive hard to make your life easier. We understand that a leaky or damaged roof causes

enough stress, and we want to make this process

as smooth and stress-free as possible."

While not at work, Arielle likes to spend time with family, exploring new restaurants and activities around Las Vegas. She runs a small Etsy store, where she upcycles disregarded ceramic dishes.
