Meet the Team

Jodd Friesz

"Success isn't just about what you accomplish in your life:

Jodd is the owner/operator at VBR. He oversees the financing and overall daily operations. Jodd is originally from Flasher, North Dakota, and spent six years in the Army/Army Reserves.

He began his career in Construction in 1995 with Dean Roofing. He started in the field and made his way up to Commercial Division Manager.

When asked how he did it, he said, "Honesty, hard work, teamwork, passion, confidence, and perseverance."

Jodd left Dean Roofing in 2015 for Minnesota, where he started as VP of operations/Sales to eventually become President of Kato roofing. In 2018 Jodd joined Joey to form Vegas Born Roofing. When asked what he loves about VBR, Jodd said, "I love the TEAM environment we've created. Giving every Team member a voice to be heard has elevated our communication to its fullest." When not at the office, Jodd loves hanging out with his family, hitting the gym, golfing with his wife, and in his earlier years, coaching soccer, where he learned a lot about teamwork.

Joey Williams

Joey Williams was a lifelong Las Vegas resident and spent his entire career in the roofing industry. From his early years in roofing to helping build Vegas Born Roofing, Joey was know for his dedication to the people around him.

Joey was a devoted husband, father, and proud grandfather who cared deeply about both his family and his team. His impact on Vegas Born Roofing continues to be felt every day, and he will always remain an important part of the company's story.

Tommy Reiner – Residential Service Manager

"What have you done for somebody else today?"

Tommy brings more than 10 years of roofing and construction experience to Vegas Born Roofing. He works closely with homeowners to provide honest recommendations, clear communication, and dependable service for start to finish.

Tommy is experienced in a wide range of roofing systems and takes pride in helping customers protect one of the most important parts of their home.

Hector Santiago - Estimator/Project Manager

Hector brings more than 20 years of roofing experience to Vegas Born Roofing. Hector works closely with customers, crews, and Project teams to keep jobs running smoothly from start to finish.

Known for his positive attitude and strong work ethic, Hector takes pride in building relationships and delivering quality results on every project.

Mrs. Sharon Uechi – Administrative Support Specialist

Sharon is often the first voice customers hear when they contact Vegas Born Roofing. She helps keep communication flowing between clients and the team, making sure every customer feels informed and supported throughout the process.

With experience in business, banking, travel, real estate, and insurance, Sharon brings a wide range of knowledge and strong organizational skills to the company.

Albert Hernandez - SR. Project Manger/Estimator

Albert has been part of the Vegas Born Roofing team since 2020. and has built strong experience across a wide range of roofing systems.

As a Senior Project Manager and Estimator, Albert works closely with GCs and crews to keep projects organized, on schedule, and completed with quality workmanship.

Albert values the strong team environment at Vegas Born Roofing and takes pride in helping customers through every step of roofing process.

Rich Friesz - Project Manager

Rich joined Vegas Born Roofing in 2022 and brings more than 20 years of construction industry experience to the team.

He words closely with multi-family property managers, general contractors, HOA managers to provide dependable service and quality workmanship.

Rich is active in several industry organizations and values building strong relationships with clients and partners throughout Las Vegas.

Arielle Serrano - Accounts payable

"Whatever you are, be a good one."

Arielle works in our accounts payable department. What she likes about working at Vegas Born Roofing is constantly learning and adapting to the ever-evolving industry and the environment. No two days are the same.

Tip for homeowners from Arielle -

"I would like to tell the homeowner that we strive hard to make your life easier. We understand that a leaky or damaged roof causes

enough stress, and we want to make this process

as smooth and stress-free as possible."

While not at work, Arielle likes to spend time with family, exploring new restaurants and activities around Las Vegas. She runs a small Etsy store, where she upcycles disregarded ceramic dishes.
